일러두기. 《가영에게》는 목적 없는 애정을 전시의 조건으로 삼는다. 고요손과 오가영이 서울과 뉴욕을 오가며 주고받은 편지와 작업에서 출발한 전시는 관심을 습관 삼아 상처를 회복하고 외로움을 견디게 하는 순환을 목격해 왔다. 수수께끼 같은 삶의 중첩을 바라보는 오가영의 이야기와 언제나 ‘가영에게’로 시작하는 고요손의 편지들처럼, 이 전시 그리고 우리는 관계의 영속 그 자체에 믿음을 건다.

Preface. Dear Ghayoung takes purposeless affection as a condition of the exhibition. Originating from the letters and works exchanged between Goyoson in Seoul and Oh Kai in New York, the exhibition bears witness to a cycle in which attention, practiced as habit, restores wounds and enables one to endure loneliness. Like Oh Kai’s stories, which contemplate the layered riddles of life, and Goyoson’s letters, which always begin with “Dear Ghayoung,” this exhibition, and we with it, place our faith in the endurance of relationships themselves.
